I'd assume they would launch ar the sane time since they would already have that stuff while doing production its just turning it into a tutorial format similar to a dumbed down shop manual
fundamentally for the mase population sure it could work but its to easily bypassed for real world applications. hell I've seen people make there own car ecu with a Arduino. rip the old, a little coding later, put in the new. no gooberment, no surveillance
id assume less them 10 depending on how they unload and load and the distance between. id personally like to see at least 2 miles to at least know they tested it but I'm fine ether way.
