Yeah was curious. I am debating selling my paid off Tacoma to get a SLATE cash or finance if terms are good.

For a new release it’s usually a no, but sometimes manufacturers offer low interest to attract more buyers. But if they have more demand than supply than that’s a no.

How many are you planning to finance vs pay cash? Has anyone heard of SLATE offering finance specials?

Insurance cost is one thing and then to have both sit is the harder part.

That’s good to know and was my worry if I were to get one and needed to put in a car seat temporarily.

I know the Tacoma will hold value very well. Trade in at a dealer is $25k and private/retail is almost $30k. I know the slate might have an issue with resell value due to it being a EV, but I wouldn’t plan to sell it anytime soon if I were to buy it lol.

As you can see I have the extra seat in there for times I do use it. Oh and the 6 speed manual shot 😁

Yeah, that’s where I’m at. The Tacoma is literally one of a kind and you do not find them in manual form 4x4. I guess I just really like the idea of the slate but I’m going to list the pros/cons of each and go from there. Thanks for your help everyone!

Yes it’s hard to get rid of the Tacoma.

Yes, that’s the way I see it. I’m just debating do I go for it? Or wait and then a possible price increase? Who knows lol
