Was planning to convert an 80's American pickup to electric.

Use Case:

A "second vehicle for a short commute and Home Depot runs".
Simple. Less to break. Easy to fix.
Hard controls that I can operate without taking eyes from road.
Not a nanny. Won't tug on my steering wheel when I steer wide of a child or bike.

Slate saved me the (significant) trouble of doing this myself. It will also be a much safer vehicle.
