Working with Barrett-Jackson doing detailing and some mild restoration for their auto auction, the best "shop hack" that was taught to me for mild-heavy UV oxidized lights was using a high Deet bug spray, a neutralizer and then a sealant. Basically spray the bug spray onto a cloth or automotive...
Oh, thank you for pointing that out. I wrongfully assumed while speed reading that that was it without even looking at obvious details up close. Consider my opinions worthless 😆
Not to put down Ford, but rather point out how most new trucks look similar at first glance. When articles finally posted photos of the Ford Fathom, I mistakenly thought I clicked on one showcasing a version of the new Honda Ridgline.

I think the sad thing is that Ford is completely capable of making a great vehicle, but my opinion is that they have their hands in too many cookie jars. One of the things that draw me to Slate is that I feel cautiously optimistic that given the time and lack of parts compared to other vehicles...
You jest but that almost happened with the 3000GT... but at the time I was both poor and, fun fact, had the worst credit score anyone at the dealership had ever seen. Now I'm poor with great credit, lol.
I remember when my Suzuki carry truck was given to me my uncle, grinning from ear to ear, threw in a compact air mattress that fit the bed. Great for uh... stargazing and stuff. I miss that truck, lol.
Since the frunk has the drain plug, I'd use it as a massive cooler at meets or my local hangout. Drinks, sandwich supplies, chair and umbrella makes it feel like a beach day anywhere, lol.
For me, the two reasons why I want a test drive are the 1pd driving experience and the "electric whine" from EV's that I can never hear in videos but is generally super loud in person. If the Slate is going to be my sole vehicle, I'd like it to be an enjoyable experience, not just 'usable' or...
Pretty much as the title states. Do you think some form of a randomize button in the designer would be a fun addition to the site? Could lead to some wild builds.
I will say it is strange that in the maker, if you apply the 'accent decals' it puts the vinyl wrap on the grill lettering, a spot that will get swapped out by probably 80% of the buyers, but not on the trunk lettering which I'd reckon would be on there for much longer and stand out better.
Well, besides height, its similar in dimensions to a compact car such as a Scion Tc, which is much smaller than the majority of trucks on the road. I think that comparison is what makes people think its tiny.
While I'm not against it, I also dont think it should be on the Slate because it does make wrapping harder. If someone wants tailgate branding, I feel it should be with the decals on the maker, similar to how you can already get the logo on specific wraps, but a standalone option for the grill...
That's similar to where I'm at. Inexpensive doesn't have to mean "cheap", but it's important to have quality on things that need to last for long term affordability; which to an extent is far more important than upfront cost. Realistically, as much as I'd like to be in the "first wave", I'm...
