I found it interesting that the 5-switch panel is apparently made by Diode Dynamics. For those not familiar, they are a well known vendor for off-road lighting... very nice, but pricey stuff. But this makes me wonder if Diode Dynamics is also the vendor behind the lighting itself... headlamps...

I snagged a ride along for Sunday at 2pm. Based on everything I know I'm pretty certain that I'll be purchasing a Slate, but hopefully this event will help confirm that. See you guys there!

I hope that we start to see more vendors that offer battery replacements as a service.... particularly as the number of older EVs starts to grow. Even if I had a car lift this is probably something I'd want to leave to a professional. (Edit: man, that sure is an easy swap... maybe I could do it...

Indeed. If you go all-out on lighting and order the light pods, rooftop light bar, fog lights, rock lights, and bed light, the five switch panel will be fully utilized.

The 'Grit and Grind' partial wrap is confusing.... it appears to be a partial wrap for the top + roof + front... and it's $1099 ? That's more expensive than most of the featured full wraps. Either I'm missng something or that price is a mistake. (Or the topo print is just really expensive.)...

From the screenshots it looks like there is also Sunrise in J Tree Body Decal... ie, the red strip at the bottom.... unless i'm just misinterpreting the image?

Since the console is swappable and the arm-rest version is an accessory, I suspect this might be an area where we'll see some good third-party innovation. I remember years ago installing a center console from Tuffy in my old Jeep Wrangler. The only catch will be how to attach it to the floor...
