I would just play music out of the phone speakers. It will bring back memories of the cheap AM radio with built-in speaker I had in my first car. In fact it will probably sound better. And it will go well with the wind-up windows.

Is the supplied L1/L2 cable just a “dumb” cable with a brick-like charger, or is there any programmability or settings at the device or through an app or even just the Slate itself? I have a 50A EV rated circuit and outlet newly installed to code by a licensed electrician (with a permit even!)...
