The gas stations are owned by big oil and the last thing they would do is encourage the growth in EV's.
Surprisingly our local McDonald's has chargers and it's to encourage you to go inside while the car charges.
In Europe and the UK many supermarkets have them with the same profit driven logic...
Tesla already uses that loophole, and you have no idea how much time and money the dealers association spent to try and stop them.

But that's the attraction of the Slate; its basic transportation at a low(ish) price.
It worked well for the original VW bug which still holds the record as the best selling car ever. And on a side note they never produced it in 4 door or AWD.

I checked and Autozone will 'recommend' a local repair shop, which for me here in Roswell was this one, which does not inspire confidence especially when they are primarily a used car lot.
Did you not read the article where New Mexico has mandated that dealerships stock a certain percentage of EV's?
So they don't mandate that we can only buy EV's, the mandate is that dealerships have to stock them, giving us the choice of buying EV or ICE.
