Yes, it's a long time out. Changing to only one battery made it a true SKU of 1, which is significant. I think Slate manual windows will be a thing, if they last a year or a century. They'll do more SKUs next year for whatever is a priority: electric windows, AWD, left-hand-drive.... whatever...

Not my thing, but it's a classic thing to do with mini trucks. At least the rear suspension could handle it out of the box, and there should be lots of ways to handle the front. We're still about a half of a year out from the first being delivered, but I think Slate would love to have it slammed...

My guess is that the fleet ones they deliver this year are evaluation models for potential large customers. It should be price-competitive with anything that has a cab and A/C, even utility vehicles, so if it gets a good reputation it should do well.
