I’m more excited for the aftermarket performance bits for this truck. A nice suspension kit (Eibach, Bilstein or Fox), slight wide-body fenders and cool aero would make this a really fun car.

That's actually pretty cool! I'm guessing the lack of massive paint booths help. I think Tesla also does their own stampings and cradles too on-site and that type of machinery is huge!
I actually posed this question to customer service! We were talking about this on the FB Slate Enthusiast page. Something akin to a Spec Miata series would be really fun. Only thing is most racetracks still don't have Level 3 fast chargers available and I hear some don't want EVs on the track...
From their interview with Munro, I believe they said all stampings would be shipped in from a supplier to be assembled and welded at the Slate factory.
