I would be okay with them taking away this tax credit as long as they pass the no tax on overtime bill they were talking about. That would definitely make up for it.
Same... I like to have a full tank soo it's going to drive me crazy stopping the battery at 80%. Unless I convince myself into thinking that 80% is actually 100% and 100% is 120% overcharge then I'll sleep better.
This truck will be successful as long as they keep the design as clean and classic as possible. I just like the looks of it and price. All the other stats are horrible but I'm okay with that.
Sure, the lighting has IRS, but not an identical front and rear MacPherson like you suggested. The MacPherson has a pretty aggressive camber curve. Also it has a built in king pin angle designed to be steered. You can't really use it on the back.
With the F/R MacPherson set up, The shocks...
I agree here, anytime you switch drivers it takes a bit to get the mirrors right, even if you think they are good in the driveway a few miles down the road when you are settled in, small adjustments are handy.
This would be a poor design for a few reasons, most obvious to me is the camber curve when the truck is loaded.
Also You would also get bump steer in the back, which would be sktecy. You would also have a weird axis of rotation that would be flat if both front and rear matched, then as the roll...
Yeah, what that guy in the McPherson video is saying is not true. The spring is not controling geometry at all. Its all the strut. The coil spring is just to support the vechical weight.
The problem is they are not that good, if you did a small one like a bmw style i3 rEX you would only be getting like 15 miles per gallon. You would need a full size drive system to be efficient.
I'll have to Google this again, but I feel like I remember awhile ago BMW or someone trying to use a special composite structure to build their car that could store electricity like a battery...
Can't really find it but this seems similar...
Not sure I get what you are saying, the post when I brought up that the aftermarket may make a bech seat I posted that company as an example. Obviously those are for some other application.
Make sure you make your grandchild wear a seat belt, I don't know any seat that I would sit in without...
That's what would make the most sense... but then I have questions is this frame made with US steel in the USA, or are we getting a AK-47 build here with the frame made in China and US plastic attached?
