My old VW Alltrack and my current BMW R1200RS have similar fobs. The moto key locks/unlocks the saddle bags, trunk, under seat storage, and the sometimes useful Garmin-based Navigator device. Honestly I wish I just had a Quadlock mount for my phone…it would be way more useful.

For $75 you can buy a CarPlay unit from Amazon that talks to your phone via Bluetooth. That’s pretty cheap.

I’m pretty sure I had that same head unit in my old 325i…
