the easiest update is to add 1-2 feet to the bed so you now have a long bed. Then being able to add the same SUV seats with a shorter cap to have a double cab with the same 5ft bed.
suicide doors are a pain. had that in my 2000 tundra and would never do that again. There are times in a parking...
tech to make the car safer, make the battery last longer, want it but dont need it.
battery conditioning, keeping charge between 20-80%, backup camera, antilock brakes ok.

Im close to the perfect audience.
0) I want an EV for the simplicity and so I dont need to get gas or get service.
1) I drive by myself most of the time
2) the hobbies I do are dirty - hunting, mountain biking, kitesurfing
3) I do lots of home projects that require hauling stuff, but not...
I think they can extend the bed 2 feet so you have the option of a full size bed and 1 row, or a shorter bed and two rows.
They will definitely add AWD
After that possibly a 4 door truck.
my wife has a mercedes PHEV which gets 60 miles on a full charge. In 2 months she is still on her first tank of gas from the dealer. Most days she doesnt consume the full charge. The L1 charger cant fill from 0-100% overnight so some days she is starting short. If we had an L2 charger she would...
people who have never made corporate software dont understand
1) software as described needs a server side as well as the client side. Any hardware interface needs embedded software. People will need to design the circuit board interfaces. You need product management, development, architecture...
Im their perfect customer:
I want an EV truck (a car form factor is not acceptable)
I want to pay less than 30K.
I want it to be shorter than my 2010 tundra, ideally less than 200 inches. The tundra is great but I want something smaller.
I dont care about paint, infotainment, speakers, etc.

like many things you need to practice. You cant just lift of the gas, feather the gas and let the car slowly slow down. 1 pd driving can feel exactly like driving with 2 pedals.
Just like you dont slam on the brakes, you cant just suddenly lift off the gas pedal like you are used to doing.
the interesting thing is the simpler it is the less things there are to break.
In my tundra, one of the items that famously went bad, is a secondary air injection system. The only purpose is to run for 60-90 seconds when the car is first turned on to reduce emissions.
Somehow the pump would...
airing down tires can help a lot.
I got stuck in the sand on a beach in my rwd 2000 tundra. It was one of the reasons I sold it. In 15 years of owning it, I really needed my 4wd in my 2010 tundra for only one week during an ice storm in texas.
There looks to be front and rear vertical slots too. You can use those as dividers to keep stuff from sliding around, or mount things like bike wheel mounts onto the wood.
