We finally got the answer to "Yeah, but can a tall person fit in it?"
Slate just dropped a new video featuring their tallest employee, Cob, coming at a whopping 6' 9" (6 feet, 9 inches) tall. He appears to fit pretty well!
Not sure I'm interested in another GM EV. My Silverado EV is back in the shop. I've had it for two months and for about half of that it's been in the shop...
50 MPG is still about twice the fuel cost of a Slate for me (which would be free if I end up going solar). Depends how much you drive and if you need a truck bed I suppose.
Yet we're still going to continue to fund fossil fuel production with tax dollars, but noooo, we don't want to spend money on cleaner air. 🤦‍♂️
Except more energy is now generated in the United States via renewables than with coal, which is the dirtiest form of fossil fuel used to generate electricity. Coal is dropping while renewables are increasing.
However, even when electricity to charge an EV IS generated with coal, it is still AT...
It's definitely about practice. Also, the regen in my Tesla isn't as sensitive OR as "hard" as it is in my Silverado EV (the Prologue has GM "bones", so regen/1PD is probably similar to my Silverado EV).
With over 30,000 miles of roadtripping in our Teslas though, you can definitely do it in...
Hence the consistent "The truck is still in development and things will continue to change."
One of the girls even said they had JUST added some additional guidance / updates on Saturday morning.
I'm only 5' 11", but the host in this MotorTrend video is 6' 10" and it still looks fairly roomy! Should home you a pretty good idea of how it'll fit you. 🙂
When we were talking about the truck Jimmy was asking questions and taking some notes, which excited me that even though Slate may not change some things, they ARE listening.
I made it very clear that one of the most talked about hangups I see in my social channels is the 1,000 lb towing...
I meant to get pictures of the underside yesterday, but as I started taking my 360 photos they had to take it away for the parade, haha. Sorry about that!!!
It's also possible I misinterpreted what was being said. I was going to record, but we got started talking about all kinds of other things and I forgot. I wrote down notes for each answer.
I think it was more that they are still testing candidates. My guess is that it would be near completion. Or I misunderstood what they were saying, haha.
