If it works in a SxS, does the closed cab of the Slate make that big of a difference for sound quality. My guess is yes from what seem to be informed opinions above. It will automatically connect and power up once power is on. No manual involvement.
Would make for an easy sound system. I am...
If I have to find out, it will be well less than 15F where ever you are because 15F here and the world ends!!! Hurricanes, no problem. Cold, forget about it.
LOL
Ok. I have one in my garage that sounds pretty good but I get the acoustics of the truck may turn it to garbage. I will give my current one a try first.
Video not working for me using the link in post 1. Error has occurred.
Found it on the tubes. Meh. Did not really say much other than they passed the minimum test. Which is good.
Going back to the first of my friends getting a car and time for a stereo upgrade. I was always a wiz with electronics so I took to car stereos like a duck to water. No internet for help either. Trial and error and I got pretty dang good at it. So much so if anyone in my high school wanted...
I would make the trip to grab mine. Not so sure the drive back to HTX would be fun though. How many miles on the extended battery?????
1159 mile drive!!!
Something from the SxS community??? Find a mounting space in the dash? Not sure it would work.

I am going with my iPhone and Bluetooth it to some sort of powered speaker. My JBL Bluetooth speakers work well in the house, garage, and on my bicycle, so why not in the Slate.
Just secure this in the cab, find a power source, and good to go. I have one it and works great in the garage.
Or...
Fortunately similar to when I bought my GT350 and 2 GT500's, I have a no markup dealership that refuses to play the mark up game. If it's $30K, I will get it for that. They are a small town family owned dealership and have honored the MSRP on those 3 vehicle and a buddy that bought a Bronco...
Or get this now.... I-4 hybrid. Works and is here now.
$27,250.
But again, if it's not 100% EV, I am not interested in a small hybrid or ICE truck.

Range, range, range. If the extended range battery costs $4k, putting it over $30K and the Ford has similar or even better range in a bigger truck with a few bells and whistles.
Why would you pay more for less? Slate at that point $31.5K, Ford $30k.
No brainer. Bye bye new start up with all...
Spares have been hanging under the tailgate for ever and seem to work. I want all the storage space I can get so leaving it where it is works for me. Great idea but not a solution I need for a problem I don't have.
