Nice Slate coffee

Average daily mileage is 20-30. Plan on level 1 charging with the small battery.

I’m 6’2” and measured 6” of extra headroom when I sat in a slate.

And here I thought I had settled this when I took my tape measure to the Space Needle event.

I might have seen some of those things get broken at the Space Needle event. I got to sit in it (spacious) and asked permission to touch anything (sometimes yes, sometimes no). Not everyone was so respectful.

I don’t know where, but somewhere on this forum it’s posted that Slate plans to let all reservation holders take a test drive once they’re ready.

The news feed on my phone had an article 5 days after leaving stealth mode. Wasn’t looking for a vehicle, but preordered that day.

That’s the spirit! Bluetooth is an adequate low cost solution for many and some of us would not use anything we don’t install ourselves. Everyone wins! I rode in a friend’s car with Bluetooth and every text booped through his speakers. That would drive me insane, but some folks don’t mind.

Personally, I’d sooner mount a record player in my truck than listen through Bluetooth. At least my “dropouts” would be analog :rock:

You’re right, @Dorbiman. The customer pick up seems new to me too. I was in a hurry to post before my lunch break ended.

My fastest Carr was a ‘74 LeMans with a Pontiac 400 in it and I don’t think it was as fast as they say the Slate will be off the blocks. I’m usually the fastest car on the highway around Seattle in my ‘08 Prius so maybe I just don’t understand how nuts people must be in other cities. 0-60 in 8...
