Rival news: Ford Midsize EV Pickup (Ranchero) - News & Info

Never once out of a dozen new car purchases across 8 brands was the buying experience a straightforward process. Maybe it's Dallas that's the problem 😅. I'll be happy to not have to deal with one. The recalls don't surprise me especially if it's on covid era cars.

Rival news: Ford Midsize EV Pickup (Ranchero) - News & Info

I bet their EV truck will never actually be $30k and then the dealerships will be gouging people for even more regardless of what Ford says.

Rival news: Ford Midsize EV Pickup (Ranchero) - News & Info

Cause they charged more than any other manufacturer (Until Ram surpassed them a couple years ago). Also their dealerships are the scummiest I've ever dealt with. When I attempted to "pre-order" a Bronco they straight up told me they were going to add money and if I didn't like it I wouldn't get...

Rival news: Ford Midsize EV Pickup (Ranchero) - News & Info

I hate Ford with a passion (greedy bastards). I hope Slate dominates the segment.

A Month Out from Price Announcement. What is the wisdom of the crowd?

I seriously hope not.. the incentives were detrimental to the EV market. We need manufacturers to reduce MSRP like Chevrolet and Kia already did, and the used prices to stabilize.

Based on the total kWh they've given for the battery, yes. I'm assuming 3.00 mi/kWh based on a 5% unusable reserve.

I imagine it'll be a pretty small difference with the short bed and the spoiler they added to the cab. Even on full size trucks it has a minor impact.

That's just based on the model which is based on the prototypes. Also doesn't factor in the air curtains and other details. It's expected to be well below that.

I didn't even see the lowering kit I thought it was only the 2" lift. Not enough wiggle room for me.

It's tall because of the cab height but projected to be between 6-7" off the ground. Slamming it to the ground wouldn't give you much utility.

A lowering kit? It's already going to be lower than a Lobo Maverick. I can't imagine going lower😅.

They would save money only producing one version. There's a reason the Bolt only has one and it was changed to LFP. They also make LFP.

Why people think there’s no Market for Single Cab Pickups and why Slate solves the issue with modern Pickups.

I love how they blame low single cab sales.. but you can't even find one on a lot 99% of the time. If they actually offered them and offered the same discounts they give the crew cabs I bet they would sell just fine.

I guess I'm biased being in the south.. but LFP would be thousands cheaper. And I don't want to worry about charging it carefully over the long term.
