    Service outlets

I also just checked on RepairPal providers today. Those currently in my area are so-so. I would like to think that Slate is going to really vet these shops. It may be possible that they will find shops not currently on the RepairPal selector list, and add them where appropriate. I managed the...

Thoughts about woodgrain on the sides?

Chevrolet offered a woodgrain exterior on the C/K pickup in the mid 70s, so your idea is not unusual. In fact, it might be a fun way to bring some nostalgia to your build.

Slate production line w/ frames! Current status video (5/19/26)

It was noticeable, but not a deal breaker. It reminded me of driving a chevrolet Astro van, but with overall better ergonomics.

When I sat in one at an event in Michigan last year, I noticed the left front wheelwell made it awkward for taller drivers to rest their left foot. Slate Marketing is making me lose interest.

I thought you were talking about ME for a minute there! I know that it is hard to maintain messaging for a vehicle in the final statges of development, so I appreciate any of the communications that get shared. As us early adopters put the Slates to use, maybe Slate will use our stories to...

If Slate incorporates surveillance tech, I’m 100% out [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

That's interesting. It is the first that I've heard of that legislastion, and I doubt the majority of US consumers know about. I don't like it either, however, almost all of our daily activities have some sort of tracking, etc.

Pre-orders starting in June! See OFFICIAL confirmation from Slate Auto

I'm with you, yet remain optimistic that Slate will put a lot of attention into these year one vehicles. They have a lot on the line not to do so.
