I have bought from Carvana before and they got my taxes figured incorrectly, they charged me too much, about a month after I got my tags in the mail they sent b a check for the difference. So they can get the taxes miscalculated too.

As long as you don’t install a couple 1000watt amps and huge sub woofers you should be fine.

They should have a fill in the blank for taxes like the down payment does. You can call the DMV or County clerk and tell them the price before taxes and they can give you a pretty close figure on taxes and registration fees. I have done that before.

Kind of hard to add every accessory, some things are not compatible with other accessories. Every combination would come up with a different total. Not to mention many still don’t have prices.

No way around not paying a destination charge. Have you not been paying attention? Now some states will take your trade in value off the transaction total and you only pay taxes on the difference. Such as total cost $29,000 your trade in is worth $9,000 you only pay taxes on $20,000 dollars.

I just ran the same information through my credit union’s loan calculator and they agree.

No doc fee showing and I can call my local county clerk and get the tax and registration amount and deduct it from my down payment. Hopefully Doc fee won’t be any more than half of the $300 preorder.

I just think with their connections with Amazon already they might have slight advantage in pricing and selling through them. Just something I have considered.
