I had never heard of "walk away locking" before this thread. I have heard of the "keep the fob in your pocket" technology but have never owned one. Even our newest 2022 vehicle still has a metal key with Lock / Unlock buttons on it. See? This truck is right up my alley! (And stay off my lawn....)

I have a 1972 console stereo that should be just under the payload capacity that I plan to use. ;) I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet but if I'm going to use my own device for navigation, there is definitely the opportunity to have a direct connection vs bluetooth. Good thinking!
