Article: Why Slate's CEO Isn't Too Worried About Cheap Chinese EVs

One could look at it as reciprocation, right? As in, you open up your market, we open up ours. Right? I hear you, but we have enough Chinese "spy machines" here already. I would be more inclined to say yes if they opened up their software architecture for inspection so that we would know where...

Article: Why Slate's CEO Isn't Too Worried About Cheap Chinese EVs

Chinese vehicles (be it gas, EV, or EREV) should NOT be allowed in the US. Period. For a variety of reasons (political, economic, strategic, etc.). Just say NO. YMMV

Who wants this battery in their blank Slate?

I know nothing about the battery industry, but from my limited/outsider perspective, battery tech today seems to be just like the RAM and HD advances in the 80s and 90s. What supposedly was impossible or just too difficult turned out to be neither. I started on a Tandy 4k color computer with...

Slate & Saturn- Similar Histories so far

I liked the original post. And I can understand why those who didn't didn't. But the immediate dismissal of the OP was off-putting. To me, the point of the post was the last para: I agree. 100%

OFFICIAL: Slate truck production plant in Warsaw, Indiana 💪 [MORE DETAILS]

I'm gonna push back a little bit on one part of your excellent comment. My 4-dr BL had a production date of Aug 2024. So maybe some progress, but not entirely fixed. Even Broncos I'm seeing that are currently on dealer lots still have the cracks.

OFFICIAL: Slate truck production plant in Warsaw, Indiana 💪 [MORE DETAILS]

Mine started cracking less than four months after coming off the line. Waiting on the dealership for the replacement. During the time I've had it it's been covered by carport and cover. The Webasto cardboard top is literally the only thing I don't like about my Bronco. Once I run out of...

OFFICIAL: Slate truck production plant in Warsaw, Indiana 💪 [MORE DETAILS]

So, essentially, 2027? At the earliest? Meaning, probably wouldn't get it until 2028? I may not even be alive by then! :crying: I was in the middle of eating when I read the dreaded "W" word in your post. I lost my appetite. As I'm sure all of us who have a Bronco with the MIC top do when we...

Issue loging in to Slate account.

Took 2 days for my verification codes to come, meaning they were expired upon arrival. I'm gonna wait a few more days to let IT get it fixed.
