It will be interesting to see how basic folks will be willing to go. Believe it or not, I'd like to opt out of having air conditioning (remember the days when A/C was an extra cost option?). But I understand there might only be 3 or 4 of us willing to go full-on Zen/Amish like that!

Lithium Iron Phosphate cells weigh more for a given output than NMC cells. Chevy Bolt 2026 is going to LiFePo, but most other EV's have opted for the weight savings of NMC. I agree that there are many reasons to stay away from NMC.
