    Cupholder

Is cupholder a standard feature or an optional aftermarket add-on? I may have overlooked, but I don’t recall seeing them in interior photos.

Why are so many people comparing this to a Maverick? Does Ford Maverick come in an affordable EV option? The whole point is affordable EV.

Just for Fun: With a Frunk, what Do You Call...

Never knew what it was called, but in a Model 3 Tesla that is where the low voltage battery and wiper fluid goes.

Tonneau / bed cover (factory OEM) will be available

I hope they make storage boxes that fit snugly around the tire wells in the bed and it creates a flat surface for drywall and/or plywood

House introduced bill to phase out $7500 federal EV tax credits 👎

I should have been more thorough….the incorrect information I’m referring to is that somebody said the EV tax credit would still be available to buyers of an EV as long as they reserved a purchase before the EV tax credit is discontinued.

House introduced bill to phase out $7500 federal EV tax credits 👎

I agree that government should not be subsidizing EV purchases, but I do believe they should subsidize EV charging stations as part of an infrastructure package.

Another pessimistic viewpoint video - "Is the Slate Truck a Winner... or a Total Flop in the Making?"

Doesn’t matter…the 220 will get it charged quicker or depending how much you drive, ontime.

Another pessimistic viewpoint video - "Is the Slate Truck a Winner... or a Total Flop in the Making?"

I had a Ranger XLT early 2000s… loved that truck. Was perfect size, not like these huge trucks you see nowadays. I’m excited for Slate to successfully launch.

Is ~150 mile range adequate for a fleet vehicle ?

I do rideshare and food deliveries in my Tesla and it’s ideal in those scenarios. No way a Slate could manage it with the ranges currently being offered. Also agree, definitely not a car for passenger rides (not even sure they allow two door cars on the platform). I will say that the ranges...

House introduced bill to phase out $7500 federal EV tax credits 👎

Slate should already assume the tax credit is gone. They will maintain their image as affordable EV and small pick up if their base model stays no higher than $25k

Is ~150 mile range adequate for a fleet vehicle ?

I think it’s enough for contractors like plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, in which you need to bring your tools to a job site. It is not enough for rideshare or delivery services being on the go all day. And generally the usable range is around 50% of the advertised range, for those that...

    Seats comfort / quality

Does anybody know anything about the seat quality that Slate plans on using? I know the goal is to keep costs down, but comfort is a big deal for me. If it’s like my RAV4, I may have to look for a replacement. If it’s like the BMW or Tesla seats then it’s a winner. The videos show what looks...
