Yes! Wraps are good longer now with the new UV additives. Like 7 year for good stuff And with a release spray and heat gun the new stuff comes off easier. The bad removals come from older wraps that were done 5 years ago with old tech and have not been taken care of.
Also there another option...
I get it. It use to be really hard a few years ago. We have family that runs a shop. It is hard with parts on a car. But from what I think will happen is most parts will come off and can be put on a table and that helps so much. All your cuts will be behind the panel. Also new wrap rolls are way...
For me 2 slates are cheap cars for my kids to drive. I am ordering two and hope to write them off as test bed for some parts manufacturing. But I will let my girls test drive them to school and college.
Also, I just sold my 2001 Ranger with 200k miles and need $6k of work for the clutch and...
So how many parts do you think are reused more than once? Like the arm rest and tail lights that just rotated I think. Maybe top of the bed it used twice. The air bags in the back look like the same bar. Using a part just twice cuts so much down.
Was thinking. I was planning to leave the top and doors off all the time. I wonder how it will do with the rain and water. We leave some Jeeps like that all year. And jump in them when we need a quick ride.
I hope the t just stay in the USA for the USa market. There is such a need for small trucks here. Other countries can get one from china easier than USA customers.
It would be cool if you can get the standard battery and plug in an extra for days you need it. Or have it charging wile doing small trips. I know it will be to heavy and unpredictable but still be cool. I could one day see travel trailers with batteries for long trips for EVs.
This just the first model. Like the first iPhone. No App Store. Not apps from others and look where that got us. Next model may have more and more and then maybe a 4 door suv in the 9h year model.
