What Would You Do if The Slate Truck Does Not Manifest?

I’d do…something else. They need me more than I need them

    What would you tow?!

Not gonna happen with a Slate.

    Local hauling of stuff.

Walmart EV Charging Network Plans to Blanket US

You’ll have to ship it on your own to the Big Island.

    Jeff Bezos and Slate

I predict utilization of Amazon’s vast logistics empire for delivery or pick up of vehicles at fulfillment centers.

Do we know if Slate is on this forum?

Too early to do that. PR-101; don't have informal discussions outside of media. Control the narrative on your timeline.

Phone charging - wired or wireless?

I agree. The one in my Tesla (Qi) is flaky at best and charges way too slow.

Slate is "confident in our plan -- [tax] incentive or not."

"Near you" is relative, but yes, that's the idea. I've said it already on these forums, but given the Bezos contribution to this effort, I can't imagine they haven't at least considered the idea of having pick ups near/at Amazon fulfillment centers.

Phone charging - wired or wireless?

I'm sure there will be aftermarket items that will say, plug into the phone holder and have MagSafe...I know I'd love that.

Edmunds: 7 year loans make up 20% of new car financing.

Yup. That tells me people are foolishly overextending themselves and buying things they can't afford. The loan companies/banks are laughing all the way to the...well, bank.

Composite Plastic Body Panel Care (Cleaning, Protecting, Waxing, Coating)

Anyone know how the gray composite panels (no wrap) will hold up using automatic car washes, given any empirical evidence from other vehicles? And spare me the lectures (;)), I will be using automatic car washes; I'm very busy and don't want to take the time to hand wash my vehicles.

V2L connection (vehicle-to-load) confirmed. Power tools & appliances w/ your Slate truck

Both an inverter and a rectifier in the truck? Hope it doesn't ratchet up the costs too much.

Slate, the ultimate budget build mini truck.

Mostly balanced review. There's one area I totally agree with you; I'm sick of giant trucks. They're obnoxious and annoying.

    Slate website update

That and endless threads to sort through saying essentially the same thing: "new stuff". Either way good find!

    Slate website update

I think suffice to say there will be new editions popping up between now and next fall/winter. Wonder if a new category on the forums to just cover new things would be a good way to consolidate. Looking in more detail, looks like nearly every category has a generic "coming soon" category. That's...

    Slate website update

Oh. That's not a new "coming soon" section. That's just one thing coming under Audio and Tech. Totally different thing.

DUAL MOTOR - 3500LB tow Rating!!!!

An actual Mustang, not one of those branding attempts to foolishly use a classic and iconic name to sell EVs, right?
