    Body panels are probably vacuum or pressure formed. Not particularly complex so the tooling is relatively cheap. Less than $5K each panel style.

    I can't speak for filament as I only print with resin and powder but I've come across some resins that can handle load and temperature. But it's not $20 model resin. They cost $80 to $500 per kilo. Just about any of the nylon powders are up to the task.
