Unlikely. I've played this game before. 36k$ for a barebones truck with an easy to build stainless exoskeleton slow morphed over 5 years to "its an aluminum model Y with panels literally glued on", oh, and it cost 90k.

Thanks to this thread I just learned that Hawaii has no tax incentive for EVs and in fact has an extra $50 charge for registration above and beyond the normal registration. So effectively Hawaii is anti-EV, who knew?
