It's a blank slate....build as plane jane as you can. Then, continue to build it for years and years like VW did with the bug.Dont change anything .Don't give in to options...that can come with accessories and aftermarket support. Keep the base model simple....reliable....plain.

Received a nice letter( forum) in the mail yesterday with a note and a rendering drawing of the slate truck. It's a nice reminder they know I'm still here.

Will be no rebate from the government on lithium battery equipped vehicle. More of a fire hazard also.

I believe it's a cab(internal steel support /cage of sort)on frame. One unit...

The equipment to put this complicated frame together (flat panel laser,arbor presses,punch presses, robot welders and full powder coat line) would take a lot of money up front. I would think it would be more cost effective to out. source..just my thought.

Google maps has changed the name already on the factory to Slate. Has several train tracks...looks promising.

Warsaw plant has several train tracks leading to both sides of the building. Google maps has already changed the name on it to SLATE.

What company or factory will be building the frame of the truck? Will it be powder coated? Some kind of weather protection I'm hoping.

It's a brick,not a sleek rocket shape.Wind resistance plays a big part in that.
