Yeah, I remember watching a video that referred to it as āthe as yet unnamedā¦ā
It seemed odd to me. Like, youāre expecting a name? Why?
Itās the Slate Truck. Thatās it.
I was happy to get it. I keep folders on all of my vehicles; now I can start a Slate folder.
Hopefully Iām not jinxing it, but for now at least, it feels that much more ārealā.
She didnāt actually answer your question. You asked about track width, her answer refers to wheelbase.
Or sheās using the wrong terminology and Iām reading it too literally.
The more I look into the Slate (youtube videos, playing around on the configurator, etc) the more I want one. Pretty sure Iām in even without the incentive as long as they can keep it under $30k.
Same. I had a Lightning Pro reserved, except I never even got an allocation. Then they jacked up the MSRP and I was out.
I want basic, and I want good value for money. The Pro was a lot of truck for $39k.
āYes, butā¦ā
They need to hit their pricing target (or close to it) for me to buy it blind. Iām expecting it to be pretty crude for that money, and Iām ok with that. An increase of say, $5k or more wonāt necessarily run me off, but Iāll need to lay hands on it and be suitably impressed first.
I swore I wouldnāt jump on the EV train until solid state batteries came to market, but if they can deliver what theyāre promising Iām ready to play ball.
Fingers crossed. Go Slate go!
