I stumbled over the text on the Slate website that made me think Level 2 was included:

5' truck bed combined with 8' plywood = less than 3' sticking out past the truck bed (and the rear bumper adds even more cushion). I'm taking your word on the "3 foot" requirement.
The Slate website originally implied that both Level 1and Level 2 chargers were included ( actually, I think I was stated, but the site has changed). I had looked specifically for this, and at the time was surprised that Slate was going to give owners a Level 2 charger that their competitors...
I saw this, and brought it up with a rep at a Slate to State event in Denver - he was clear in walking back the idea that it would be available. This was an August 1st event. He implied technical challenges in offering the capability.
I'm still very interested in this, and will be watching for...
I've been looking for a latch for the rear window for a while - I'm 99% sure that at this point the Slate has NO LATCH to secure/lock the rear window while on the square SUV. I thought I saw this on a pic from the Sacramento event, but I can't find the pic. There are a number of pics that show...
I was at the Denver event August 1st - a rep there told me Slate would be visiting Florida in Jan/Feb 2026. I look forward to seeing it again, and hope that maybe they'll bring something that is closer to the actual production trim.
