I had that thought too but I gave it up. I'd drive it to Iowa. I have no EV experience so it would be a sink or swim adventure for me. It might be a good adventure for you if you can get the truck.

Emotionally I'm ready to buy a slate. I need to put some thought into it though before I buy. I resurrected this thread to help me stay grounded. Can any of you early adopters past or future share your decision-making steps?

NMC or LFP? I'll take the cheapest one that gives me around 70-80 kWh. I don't care about resale value because I will be keeping it for 8-10 years. Old school NMC battery technology might be more bulletproof and less prone to glitches. Maybe?
