I hope those videos they have been putting out showing them starting to assemble some bodies in white are old and they already have a bunch of completed trucks ready for all the crash testing and EPA certification. And hopefully some for customer demos like they have been promising.

Did I miss this? Or is it new? I swear the events link (https://www.slate.auto/en/events) has had basically nothing. Well now there's something.

There is no list of cities yet. Just a few pictorial hints. One of the cities that I recognize looks to be Seattle, perhaps where they start. And there's coffee. You'll see when you look at the page. Don't know what other hints are in here.
No, this has been on their landing page since late last Summer (according to wayback machine, looks like the video was added sometime between August-November 2025). IIRC- Washington, Oregon, Utah , Denver, Fresno, San Francisco were all early stops, along with quite a few in New York, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and even Washington DC all with a couple different cities/spots in each state with quite a few posts from those events on this forum.

Thank you! Pictures are from the previous showings.

But the 2 months, 18 cities is new, right?

Wonder if it's something they'll offer if you put the $300 deposit down. To kinda lock you in and cover the wear and tear on a test drive Slate.
Though, ngl: I'd take the test drive vehicle. So long as it isn't beaten up too much.

The FAQ says reservation holders will have priority to sit in a car. It mentions demonstration drives "later in 2026", but doesn't indicate a priority scheme. One would think pre-order holders would get priority for drives. Maybe we'll get more info Wednesday. Let's hope.

Die in hope, or live in despair.

Still just one date on the upcoming 18 city tour? And I think the 2 month timeframe has already sailed..

I'm beginning to think, maybe we're waiting on the SS Minnow, for a three-hour tour.

Waiting for Godot, or someone like him.

The next World Cup Americas Tour.

Yeah, as @Sl8rGrl pointed out above, and people keep reminding me, this is old news. They should just take it down. It was last year.

All they have for this year is "Stay tuned for exciting events coming to a site near you!"

No disrespect to Thomas, but until I put my hands on the steering wheel, and foot on the 1PD, I won't believe it!

18 cities out of all the cities nation wide are not many.
I say they will do it by the highest 18 pre order states. I doubt one will be near me.
I think they'll do the largest-population metro areas, with a bias against those clustered closely together and a bias for those that are culturally notable/tourist destinations and can get good media coverage.

Here's the list from Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metropolitan_statistical_area#United_States

1. New York
2. LA
3. Chicago
4. Dallas
5. Houston
6. Atlanta
7. Washington DC
8. Miami
9. Philadelphia
10. Phoenix
11. Boston
12. Riverside
13. San Francisco
14. Detroit
15. Seattle
16. Minneapolis
17. Tampa
18. San Diego
19. Denver
20. Orlando
21. Charlotte
22. Baltimore
23. St. Louis
24. San Antonio
25. Austin

To my mind, it would be a shame to miss eg. St. Louis and hit all 3 of Las Angeles, Riverside, and San Diego which are within an hour or two of each other. If they don't go to STL, the next closest option is like 5 hours away!
