We will need to see what Slate includes in their lift kit... This is a spacer only kit (probably why they were willing to put up a price and description - finalizing the design will just require confirming the spring dimensions and some fastener lengths).

I'm curious if Slate will offer a spacer kit ($300-500), or a true spring lift with associated struts ($800-1200). If they only do the beefier option, then something like this would give people an inexpensive intermediate option. If both are spacer kits, then I don't know that there would be any advantage either way, probably just whatever is cheaper.

It also shows an aftermarket interest is in the works, which is exciting for those that may not want to pay more for an equivalent offering from Slate.

I've only heard the folks from Slate state the lift (and lower) will be 2". If true, and this aftermarket kit is 1.5", then endusers have a more mild option at a minimum. And slightly less lift might be better for the axles, based on the rear suspension design.

Thanks for sharing this. For my needs, a 1.5" spacer kit would be adequate, so this is definitely in the running.

Isn't it go in in 2 wheel drive and use 4 wheel drive when you get stuck? In Slate's case it's 2 wheel drive and get towed out backwards.
