Are you going to put in an order tomorrow or in the next 30 days?

Are you putting in your order during the order window?

I really really need to sit in the driver’s seat before I pre-order and see if it’s a good fit for me. I’m very short and very stout. There are many vehicles I would like to own that cannot adjust to fit me.

It is buying a ticket to a show when some of the characters haven’t been revealed yet. I’m ok with the $300 to see the first run of the show.
Fair enough! I might wait for the matinee unless another great preview comes out.

Funny enough, that was my general opinion on the REO thread…. But it was an unpopular one!

I voted that I'm not going to place an order but that may not be technically true. I'm considering asking for my $50 back, but then turning right around and placing an order so I go to the back of the line. My estimation is that it will still be in 2027, but with a few more bugs worked out.

That's actually a pretty logical take on the situation.

You don’t have to accept an early window. You could wait for 2028 with existing reservation.

I'd like to see the truck first, but that is not going to happen. Though, my biggest hurdle is convincing my wife.

That's a bigger risk than losing $300.

Two words: "Business Vehicle" -- then she shrugs as if to say, "You do you, Boo!".

Since my window is "2027" with no months, I'm going to presume Fall 2027 judging by seeing other's windows going through June. So my answer stands "wait a few days". Probably wait deep into July. See if it updates once the pre-order frenzy relaxes, they may be able to give a window.

For over a year out, I'm not even sure I'll be alive! Pumping the brakes on my pre-order.

I think I'm going to put in the additional $250, but (I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this) I'd like to see what Ford has cooking with the UEV pickup before I finalize the purchase of the Slate.

IF (huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge if) Ford releases the UEV pickup at $30K, I will probably go for that.

If it's $39,999 before all the dealer BS, I'm so far gone it's not even funny.

My Slate as configured comes in at $26.2K, before taxes/title/delivery etc. Which is a VERY compelling price.
