The one picture looks like the frames of 2 Slates in the new factory. I don't remember seeing that before. Also some of the manufacturing equipment on pallets in what looks like the new factory. I thought previous pictures only showed a few small parts.

All of this material has been previously published. Nothing new here, unless you missed the initial reveal. We’re just going to wait until late June for something tangible.

It's a nothing burger advert when I was on YouTube. This was on May 15th.
Pretty spot on the vehicles some folks are looking at with regards to overlap of vehicle.

The Slate Truck would be the first truck I would get.

Alas, another car manufacturer getting in to the single cab pick-up market. Before the Gladiator was released, and it was just a rumor that Jeep was getting back in to the pick-up market, I was really excited that it was going to be a Scrambler. I was disappointed when instead it was a 4-door called Gladiator. Hard to get excited about a $90k Scrambler now that I will be getting an EV Slate for less than $30k. Perhaps they are doing this to prove that there is no market for a single cab pick-up when in reality they are proving there is no market for a $90k single cab pick-up.

$90,000? Yeah that is comparable. 😂 No electric truck in the list. Why are people pushing the Bolt in this message board, or the Maverick? If I wanted a Bolt or Maverick, or $90,000 jeep I would be on those message boards.

1. Because they are comparable in cost and features?
2. Some forum members have not finalized their decision?
Just some guesses.

I guess we have complete different opinions. If I wanted a car, I would be shopping for one. I would not even bother looking on this forum if I was shopping for a car or a gas truck.

Not everyone is getting the same thing out of the Slate, and what you're here for depends on what you compare against. Some people might be here because its cheap and electric, which is where the bolt could come in, some people might be here because its a smaller cheap truck, which is where the maverick comes in. Even Slate compares against the Maverick.

We need to see what Ford is offering next year. Bolt is not at all in my interest. I wish Hyundai made an E version of the Santa Cruz. That would be my preferred, but they don’t make it.

Judging by your forum icon/picture it looks like the Bolt would be in line with your Citicar.

It's sometimes difficult to understand someone's perspective over the internet...

I'm not really shopping for a truck (have one), an SUV (have one) or a car (have one). I want a Slate just because it's so darned cute! 😍 There, I said it. :p

The CitiCar in the picture was a friend's car, not mine. I did a book report on electric cars in highschool back when the CitiCar was new. But a truck is more in my shopping list rather than another car. Two old gas guzzler trucks are now in use.

SAME, I was all but ready to jump into a 2-door Gladiator. Shame.
