So I am currently rolling on an a road trip heading on a leg from San Francisco to Memphis via MT Rushmore.
Our 22' nmc small battery MachE gets about 236 miles full up at 70mph on flat ground.
Looking up skates lfp pack and not much info on that.
I think I may have been able to duplicate this trip in August but here are some catches.
South Dakota is a charging desert. Tesla NACs can not be used by non Tesla cars in the entire state. This leaves 2 large dc charger gaps on I-80 of 150 miles ish.
At the posted 80mph I do not think the Slate could do this gap at the posted Speed limit as it is similar in shape to a brick. We achieved these gaps in our MachE by catching to the mid 90s and tucking in behind semi trucks running about 75mph.
In winter I think SD would be impossible in a small pack Slate and nearly so in a small pack MachE. Due to cold weather range loss.
As a side note. Withe a 230 mile pack I run 120 miles between charges without concern and a decent charge experience. Once you start needing the bottom ten and top 20 percent of the pack things slow down a sigh igant amount. A 450 mile day with a early check in turns into a 450 mile day with a late check in. Takes away pool time, casual dining stops, basic vacation goofing around dies due to charger time suck.
