If you went with 48x79 it looks like it would be a perfect fit with tailgate down. The price seems kind of high for what looks like is an empty box.

I had a different thought…I have a 6x10’ utility trailer already (800#) and adding this and some water and generator and gear might take it up to 1500#? No sweat to be pulled by a Slate for less than 100 miles trips. Disconnect and recharge the Slate before returning home.

Could also mod it to be an interesting rolling hide for hunting?

Ugh…another rabbit hole I didn’t realize I needed to explore. Imagining coordinating wraps between Slate and trailer camper…

Kinda looks like it matches the Slate gray already...

Thought about that.
just had an incredible stupid notion of framing your own utility trailer camper out and cladding it with Slate panels…now the match and wraps sync.

Worse, one of my little ones saw it and said, “oh you’re getting us a playhouse!!!”.

Can’t win

I been watching this company for a lightweight basic camper. They have also partnered with a trailer company as an option sense length is an issue.
That's cool. There was a time, when I was much younger, that that would have been an awesome "toy". Now, if I really want to rough it, I'll pull into a Motel 6...and then drive to the wilderness in the late morning after I run thru the Srarbucks drive-thru.

$3500+ buys a lot of nights at Motel 6.

Agreed. What attracts me most is the weight, under 200 lbs and to easily share it with one of my sons.
