Hmm. I have the EGO ZT42 which needs to be towed to the service center (display failed). I think the 42” will fit but I do need ramps. Can anyone recommend a good set of ramps for this application?

If you want to go the budget route you can get some at Harbor Freight. Set of (2) 6’ x 9” steel ramps for $84.99. They used to have an even cheaper solution where you would bring your own 2x8 or 2x10 and they provided the end pieces to hang on the tailgate. That is what I have in my garage currently.

Are you in low country or hills? I’d go easy with the limo’s.

We are outside of Atlanta so very small hills. Nothing like North Georgia. I'll definitely be taking it easy. We sell a lot more 4 seaters over the 6. We also sell UTV's but those deliveries will be outsourced.

While that makes for what sounds like a good idea, it would have some issues. It would mean no crumple zones, so the car hits something solid, your body is basically instantly stopping, bad for survivability. Similar issue if you hit anything softer or lighter, car basically becomes a 6-7k lb battering ram. It wouldn't pass safety tests for both these reasons. Probably when real experts pointed this out, the idea got dropped.
The whole shape of the body means it can't be brought to the EU, it's basically almost a worst case scenario in a pedestrian collision, only way to make it worse would be even sharper corners or even blades mounted on the front, and EU has regs requiring rounded front corners for that reason.

Not really. It’s possible to have crash affordances in a body that is also structural. Monocoque and semi-monocoque architectures are out there, usually in exotics/supercars and race cars. Elon was claiming the cybertruck would be made in that vein, it just wasn’t.

Those designs appear to be mostly for low weight, while cybertruck is the opposite. Those kinds of shells don't crumple, they tend to shatter, one built to absorb impact rather than transfer to passengers at that scale would probably be totaled way too easy. A race car or supercar, they just buy another body.

Yeah, but some have tried taking their cybertrucks there, and quickly found out they couldn't use them.
