If they use your personal QR code when actually buying a Slate, you could both get a 5% discount on one accessory or something... Call it the 'Ambassador program'.

How about Slate offer a free wrap of any color covered in QR advertising codes. It could be an interesting pattern like the USMC's camouflage pattern, except the pattern is QR codes.

Now that’s a wrap I might consider — digital camo.

Just created a working QR code for my Slate build.
It's built into Google Chrome, for those who would like to experiment with their unique build codes.

If you NEED AWD/4WD then the Slate just is not for you at this time. Just like the many other vehicles on the market without it.
Slate stated that they would have updates for us in June. It's highly unlikely that we would hear anything of significance between them stating that, and the June announcements.
I always believed it was in error making every 1 liter penalty box AWD.

I would love to see more manufacturers, especially of trucks offer models that are not available as 4wd/AWD.

2 door, bench seat, 2wd, positive traction, manual transmission vehicles are in short supply.

99% of folks that “need” AWD/4wd never leave the pavement and if the snow prevents their summer tires from driving down the road without AWD, they probably are safer staying at home.
