That photo of Chris was from the initial launch / reveal event: that's the truck that was on stage that they wrapped and converted during the party. It looks much blue-er in this photo, but there's plenty of video of it that looks closer to Atomic Teal for sure.

I did just order a bunch of wrap swatches, hopefully what I get is the same as what Slate uses. It would be nice if we could get our hands on an official "Slate Swatchbook" to help us see the actual products they will use.

My current thinking is that if I'm going to wrap, I feel much more comfortable taking a chance on something bold, and really leaning into colors I would never go for in paint. Current thinking is either the Electric Coral Flip, Atomic Teal, or the Cosmic Dust Flip. All with a Satin Frozen Vanilla roof.

I got a bunch of swatches from Rvinyl and atomic teal does photograph like it's more blue, especially indoors. I'm waiting for a sunny day and I intend to get a high quality outdoor shot of all the colors I ordered.

I strongly suggest you order swatches of any colors you like because the difference between photos and what the eye sees is pretty big. You can see a little of the green in the atomic teal in these photos, but it's definitely greener to the eye. Love it.

The satin ocean finish is fairly flat by design, and I don't like it as much as I thought I would. I need to see it on a car in person. My second choice out of these would be gloss blue metallic.

Thanks for these photos @bartflossom, it's good to see details like sheen and the size of the metalic flakes, especially when trying to pair different colors into something cohesive. I can't believe how bad the photography is on all the wrap seller sites.

...the kid in me really wants that Satin Flip Psychedelic.
There's something really appealing to me about taking a color that people normally only put on six figure hypercars and putting it on the cheapest production vehicle available.

Got my pile of wrap swatches. I ordered from MetroRestyling.com, they had a few other colors available that I didn't see on Rvinyl, namely the Cosmic Dust Flip.

First, the yellow/orange batch. The Satin Bitter Yellow has a lot of lime green in it at the right angles. The Satin Flip Electric Coral I was hoping would lean more orange, but it's definitely salmon/coral pink. So that's out for me. The Liquid Copper is really pretty.

I did get a bunch of blues too. I can confirm the Atomic Teal is very green in person, but seems to be impossible to photograph, even with a gray card. Each of these has a similar, real fine flake pattern.

Finally, my favorite is the Gloss Flip Cosmic Dust. It's usually dark black/teal. But can go teal-blue-purple when the light hits it just right. It has a chunkier flake pattern in it, and is very glossy & reflective.

I also got a few whites for the roof. Matte white is just as you would expect, and kind of boring. To add a bit of sparkle I'm looking at either Satin White Aluminum or Satin Frozen Vanilla. The Vanilla has hints of gold in the flake. I would like to see the "Whip Dream" color that's on the Slate Maker, but that doesn't seem to be an actual wrap color that I could find.

EDIT: I'll add that the Atomic Teal and the Frozen Vanilla look great together. The warm gold in the vanilla flake plays well on the warmer green tone of the Atomic Teal. So definitely consider that if you're going for the teal/white combo. Again, no photos though because it's impossible to capture accurately.

Wow. That Cosmic Dust Flip is amazing. Definitely considering the vanilla flake for the top but want to match grill and wheels so that'll be a game time decision based on whether I paint the grille or go with the slate fort worth rodeo truck grille.

If I decide to rewrap a few years after purchase, I'll go with the cosmic. That's too cool.
