Love the aesthetic. I actually saw a little 5" tube TV on craigslist recently and I immediately started thinking about how I could use that as my Slate nav screen.

If anyone actually knows coding please help ai is good but God is it annoying personally if I had the money id pay someone XD also got it working on the pi except for the obd stuff and haven't tried the nav just get yet. the TV function is working but needs some tweeks. was testing the obd2 seems I was having flaky communication where it would read some times but not all the time.

ok update got the obd2 to finally link up just need to actually tweek it a bit to be faster and be more accurate with the information but i drove it and it did display accurate speed just took a hot second to do so

basically a head unit with other functions using a raspberry pi 5 so a tv, a OBD-II reader, and everything for a gauge cluster

also backspace to get out of things, enter to well enter, arrow keys to navigate, youtube will launch on channel 83 so be warned is annoying, also apparently need to add a video in the tv section to view the channels, also the channel block is not working right now so the channels always play the first video file seems you add video files to the tv section and not the guide section.

OK got the obd2 side working only thing is it shows the temp in Celsius in the drive menu and Fahrenheit in the hud menu but looks like everything else is working since i have the power boost i can also see the battery % and well i have to guess that that is accurate since ford doent tell me the actual %

I got a wired connection right now so I can make sure it works I need to look into adding Bluetooth now that you mention it since the wired is working im currently using a OBDLINK EX and will probably use the OBDLINK MX (the Bluetooth one) for testing

interesting hadn't though of carplay the only issue i could see is it actually wanting to connect i know my ford some times just doesn't do carplay i hope we can id love to see how it will work ill try and see

Also added like a wire frane car selector meaning it just looks like a wire frame of a car and (I hope need to still test l) tire pressure reading and door open indicator also the Bluetooth OBDLINK MX+ should be here today so I get to iron that one out also still need to set up the analog to digital controller and test that ill probably upload v1 of the .Img image later today on github so you can flash it to a sd card still learning github 😆

https://drive.google.com/drive/project/1akOHljGv2kKIwNiKpQ9CgeQcXkij_DEO?usp=sharingbest way i could figure pout to share still editing the files but its a good base id say works well with wires connection and works with Bluetooth but if it shuts off you need to hit the Bluetooth pair button and its a bit slow so go to the dist folder and you should see gost-perimetr-os.img not the zip file and you will flash that to the raspberry pi also if you hit a terminal on first start up user name and password are gost then sudo reboot again password gost should reboot then you got to wait that part is still kind of broken but it should load if not you'll need to Enable Wi-Fi: nmcli radio wifi on. then you will Connect: sudo nmcli device wifi connect "YOUR_SSID" password "YOUR_PASSWORD and sudo reboot but dont try to connect to the eifi again once the kiosk is up youll get a error but the wifi should still work but if after the terminal log in and wait and it boots into it you can add your wifi normally as of right now the final 2 items are getting imported to the drive says 2 hors ish so hang tight if you dont see the .img file
