New Starter Packs from Slate

I'm sure many of you got this email today, but Slate just introduced new Starter Packs on the website.

Edited to add: And now I HAVE gotten the email. Guess I jumped the gun on assuming it wasn't coming, and like other posters have pointed out, these things hit inboxes in unpredictable ways. I also double-checked my preferences and I should be getting everything Slate sends.

They're mostly pretty inexpensive, which is nice! Just well-selected combinations of partial wraps and body decals in various colors, grille and lamp plates, wheel decals, and various other accessories.

While I'm very reliable with a torque wrench, soldering iron, or programming software, I am embarrassingly bad when it comes to color theory and aesthetics. Does a Gloss Ladybug red wrap or shoulder decal look good with Cardinal red interior bolster? Hell if I know! I'm aware that some reds look good together and some don't, but I couldn't tell you which ones or why. Oh, a Slate designer made a Laser Tag starter pack? They probably do.

I'm not actually colorblind, just colorstupid. Yes, I've read up on some of the color theory stuff - I know that cyan/teal and orange are complementary colors, but not which teals and oranges will complement each other well.

I'm really feelin the Rodeo, and want to do it as a mini -me to my 75 Ford F250 Extra cab.

Does anyone have a parts list for the Rodeo?

I think this package should be a starter pack, minus the pinstripe/rails,etc.

They also removed a bunch of the old Starter Packs. I wonder what prompted that?
I also see that the "wallet friendly" ones show a price on the pack while the others don't.

Check your settings. And also check your email, maybe the "promotions" or "spam" tabs.

I just got (now, past noon) this email from Slate a few hours after OP reported it. Mass emails sometimes go out over a period of hours time*. Then for some reason, gmail sat on mine for another 1/2 hour before presenting it to me.

* - anyone who has ever worked in sending marketing emails knows how touchy this is. It is incredibly easy to get "blacklisted" by providers and gateways. There are a lot of rules that must be followed (like that big old "UNSUBCRIBE" button on the bottom). Another is spreading them out over a reasonable period of time (hours).

I saw it a few hours ago. I didn't read it, just trashed it. Marketing. Ugh.

Slate, just send be an email when you want my order, then an email where to pick it up...

And for God's sake, can we get the fricking FN frunk measurements? 🤣

I noticed that and that price doesn't include the installation of everything in those starter packs so its a little misleading

How about a patriotic starter pack.... red on the passenger side, white on hood & roof, blue on driver side, all colors basic colors like the American flag. Blue side could have some white stars.
