They said they could handle financing or you can, so you can probably send a certified check.

You can’t compare it to the rates a company well established will Billions of dollars and desperate to reduce inventory on a particular model gives to a Startup that is just trying to get established. Those rates should be competitive with other lending institutions like banks and credit unions.i do wonder how completive it will be i mean Toyota right now when i was passing by yesterday had 0 down 0%apr for i think 60 months on select models and just a quick online search looks like the 4runner is at the lowest 4.99% and 0 down just curious where the slate will land i bet maybe 1,000 down 0%apr for 60months or 0 down 0%apr i mean cant get much more competitive then that unless there going to pay us XD

You are talking about manufacturer subvented finance / lease rates, common with all manufacturers that have a financing arm.i do wonder how completive it will be i mean Toyota right now when i was passing by yesterday had 0 down 0%apr for i think 60 months on select models and just a quick online search looks like the 4runner is at the lowest 4.99% and 0 down just curious where the slate will land i bet maybe 1,000 down 0%apr for 60months or 0 down 0%apr i mean cant get much more competitive then that unless there going to pay us XD
Bags of nickles.Just curious… how do we pay balance due? Credit card?
They may charge you for the credit card company's fee, usually 2 or 3 percent. You are talking about manufacturer subvented finance / lease rates, common with all manufacturers that have a financing arm.
This is not what Slate will offer since they don't have their own captive bank.
Over time, if Slate does become popular, I am sure, like Tesla did 15 years ago, eventually will have their own financing promo / rates.
In the here and now, I"d say plan on doing your own financing or pay cash for it.
I can put the entire amount on my NPSL credit card, and get miles/points - hmmm - very tempting.
Usually 0 down 0 % means someone is having a hard time selling trucks and they're dumping some of their own profit into a rebate and "select models" Is usually a gimmick just to get people in the door So the dealership can sell them. Banks are in business to make money on interest. So I really wouldn't expect super low rates on a vehicle with 150,000 reservations. Or anything in its introduction... Until they're having trouble moving them. Add to that The profit margin on a $25,000 truck versus 60 or 90k That they can afford to drop a few thousand dollars into the interest. And all the markup that can be made on dealer stuff.i do wonder how completive it will be i mean Toyota right now when i was passing by yesterday had 0 down 0%apr for i think 60 months on select models and just a quick online search looks like the 4runner is at the lowest 4.99% and 0 down just curious where the slate will land i bet maybe 1,000 down 0%apr for 60months or 0 down 0%apr i mean cant get much more competitive then that unless there going to pay us XD
