I kind of look at the delivery fee like buying online at Walmart, if you order and go pick it up it’s free, but if you have it home delivered they charge you.

My experience with Walmart has been the opposite.

Purchases over $35 are delivered free, and sometimes there are online-only discounts.

I discovered it when I wanted some SD media cards. I saw s good price and went to the store, where they wanted to charge me more. I had to go home and order them online to get the lower price.

That over $35 free delivery is only with a paid membership, and then there is still tipping.

It may vary depending on if it's "shipping" as in walmart.com and marketplace orders, vs "delivery" which comes from a store.

Not sure. I don't do it very frequently, mostly when I need motor oil or SD media or something else the they have at especially good prices.

It's kinda cool you can decide you need something, go to the computer and clickety-click, and have your order arrive at your doorstep within 24 hours for free.

Getting free shipping on >$35 orders definitely works if when you check the Walmart box under Retailer and choose Delivery when adding to the cart.

So, this was weird. Played with the new estimator. Sort of says the $24,950 price doesn't include wheels and tires? 🤣

It doesn't say wheels and tires, and those are not optional otherwise the vehicle won't run.

Here's my theory. There's been a lot of talk about what happens if you upgrade the wheels? What if they are planning on maybe giving a credit if they keep the wheels? And this is a placeholder? Normally it would say "included"?

I know it was said if you upgrade you get them all, but that seems ridiculous to me. If I lived in an apartment, what the hell am I going to do with the original steelies and tires? Heck, I live in a small house and I have no place for them.

Just guessing that they are preparing the way for some math to be done here if they keep them.

That, or they are the best auto shysters of all time. "Pay extra for nitrogen? Hell no! We make them pay extra for the wheels and tires!"

Yep yep, they answered last week that you get both sets. I guess sell what you don't want/won't use.

that explains why a set of kenda a/t tires that cost $600 at walmart are in the Maker at $1100.

Steelies cost $125.
