San Diego (Sept 9–13): Meetup @ Slate Ride-Along Demo Event [Poll]

Getting excited watching the Portland reviews come in, and I just got the San Diego invite.

So, what day is everyone going? Cast your vote in the poll above. I have Saturday morning. Had to wait for the weekend to make sure the family could join.

Wonder if they are going to setup close to a mall. UTC, perhaps? Although, the showrooms there tend to be on the higher side of the market.

That is an interesting spot with Taylor St. a bit hard to cross going West with all the train crossings. Maybe a local circuit around Old Town.

Travel
Free parking at the transit center but it does fill up fast depending on the day. Also next to the red line, green line, and Coaster for anyone that wants to take the trolley/train in.

I don't know much about your beautiful city, but that looks like a difficult place to easily access.

3918 Mason St
San Diego which appears close to Old Town. I can’t wait to see it again and drive in it!

Turns out that I maybe able to attend the San Diego Event since I will be in Southern California that weekend for USNR Training. Land in LAX Friday morning, drive down San Diego for the event, and then drive up to Ventura to check in onto the on-base hotel. Report for duty Saturday morning.

Update: Got a confirmation for a reserved ride along.

I sent them a email last night explaining that I will be in Southern CA during the event and asked for a ride-along reservation for Friday the 11th sometime between 2pm and 5pm. This morning they gave me a reservation for 3pm on that day.
