Slate's Ride-Along Event #4 will happen on 9/16-9/10 in Scottsdale.

It's a five-day event, eight hours per day. We should probably arrange a forum-member meetup time.

Best time for that would be when they expect low attendance, like Thursday or Friday.

Hmmm... on second thought maybe not. Best time might be a weekend day so more people are available to show up.

I'm not in the southwest, but I just wanted to chime in to thank you for teaching me a new demonym: I'd never heard of "Zonies" before, but I love it! Hope you all have a great time.

One thought I had over the weekend: They're unlikely to let you remove panels for checking stuff out behind the base bumper for a fog light install, behind the frunk for a compressor, or inside the dash to look at what you can remove for a concealed radio, or whatever - but you can get a USB endoscope camera shockingly cheap these days.

Slate's panel gaps aren't that tight, so you might be able to sneak a 5/16" diameter cable through somewhere.

We were installing a new outlet in my brother's living room behind his TV and couldn't get the fish tape down the hole in the sill plate. He said "Let me get my borescope" and shortly thereafter I was sold!
