So if I pre order (I signed up within 2 days of launch) and shipping to Arizona, with a delivery date of Jan-March 2027, where exactly will I pick up the vehicle and will the truck have temp reg tags on the vehicle

They will have either a dropoff location near you or you can pay more and get it delivered to your house. They should come with temp tags if they paid your TTL fees at purchase.

gotta be a bit realistic about "largest service network" thing. Repair Pal is an information service. The actual shops will be all over the board in terms of expertise on the Slate, and what kind of customer experience occurs. The won't matter for simple accesory installations, but will matter for actual triage & repair scenarios.

This cannot be remotely compared to factory owned operation.
To be fair, search any OEM dealer network and you'll get plenty of negative reviews.

Lot's of purchase questions and six months to figure them out.

Another big question... If I'm paying cash for the truck and not using a trade-in, can I get the truck sooner? Is that why they asked those questions upon pre-order?

It might be too early in the game, but I've searched a couple of times for a Repair Pal near me, for any type of service and vehicle (Slate isn't listed yet), and can't find one near me at all. Granted, I'm kind of remote but still. :(
On top, I bet there are not a whole lot of EV where you live just like me.

I wonder if that 4 year 50,000 mile roadside service includes transporting to the nearest Repair Pal center certified in Slate repairs.

That would seem logical.

Never had a car with warranty. This will be new to me. I guess I could email a pic of my Honda master tech plaque.
If you're in the New England area and don't mind traveling, I'll charge your vehicle and provide lunch if you can cover my warranties.

Have they mentioned anything about DIY repairs again? I don’t expect them to let me loose on the HV stuff but all the rest I’m good with.
I talked to the head of Slate University level 1-3 repairs they will have tutorials on how to do the repairs yourself. Level 4 repairs Slate won’t be teaching which is anything high voltage like structural damage to the battery pack or structural damage to the frame of the truck.
