As you heard last month, the proposed number of employees is approximately 1,700 new jobs created by the presence of Slate in that building. Since that time, there has been a decision by Slate to bring in-house the manufacturing of the seats for the truck that will be produced at this facility. That will likely generate another 120 jobs, so we’re getting close to that 1,800 number of total new jobs to be created.

The online Slate Maker includes options for adding metal accents to the "HVAC knobs", so we know that an HVAC system is available. However, it does not include an option for adding the HVAC system itself, and this implies that the HVAC system is a standard feature.

At first I thought you were saying that Florida requires AC in all cars sold there. Looking at the PDF I figured out that it was referring to vehicles purchased for the State's fleet. (I think)
A bigger problem might be at the bottom of page 2 where it only mentions 4-door or 5-door.

He's a nice guy, but he's hardcore red and red has become pretty anti-EV for the most part. Part of being anti-EV is also being misinformed, lol.

Not surprising. When I talked to the guy here in Warsaw he said the Slate will be 90%+ American parts content. That will beat out the new Tesla Model 3 Performance (87.5%) and Tesla Model Y (85%) for the most American-made vehicle you can buy.

No I’m sure the 10% are the parts that actually stay on the truck. The 90% are engineered to fail a day after warranty expires.
