It would be nice if Slate would fo something like Saturn and have a huge Homecoming event near the plant every year, maybe the weekend of the Anniversary of them opening Preorders.
It was fun meeting other Saturn owners and seeing their cars.
Would be fun seeing other Slates and their customizations.

Great idea! Where's some campgrounds near Warsaw?

That would be great but even if that doesn’t happen, I hope the community gets together for regional meetups so we can see everyone’s build out and hang out.

I know as soon as I get close to my delivery, I’ll work on one for Colorado/Wyoming

I’ll be hitting the cars and Coffee events around here. There are 3 of them going on now. Once a month in various cities close by.

I saw a local Indiana news interview where the city was excited not just for the jobs Slate was bringing, but also the potential tourism bump from people doing exactly this. It would be a long trip for me with lots of charging stops, but I'd love to do a Slate caravan to Warsaw.

Seems there's not many Indiana State parks nearby with camping.

Michigan has way more camping sites and parks than Indiana. There are several hundred campsites less than 30 miles north of their HQ in Troy - I've actually stayed at Addison Oaks, it's really nice - and plenty of hotels and fast chargers around for those who don't want to camp in Troy and all over Metro Detroit.

In contrast, Warsaw is a fairly small town of 15,000 isolated in the middle of a bunch of farms.

Not sure what event space either of Slate's facilities would accommodate...
