Based on a review from this week, I’m convinced without a doubt the branding is embossed:

I'll warm up to it if the black lettering is vinyl that I can remove to make it subtle.

I don't want to have to wrap the tailgate to get the subtle effect, but even then wrapping the tailgate to match a Roof Partial Wrap might look pretty good, who knows?

Point being that I'll roll with the way it goes, one way or another.

It definitely looks like it's very slightly embossed, basically so you can line up the vinyl letters. Can you imagine how bad they would look with people's DIY attempts? They need a locator 😂

There's a black lip on the truck tailgate, that looks like it was removed for the slantback config. We've actually seen very little about the slantback, even at the price reveal the only one was up on top of a shipping container, out of reach.

I'm virtually certain the SUV Kits replace the trim piece at the top of the tailgate as part of the conversion.
