Load Range E on a Slate FN would not achieve good results, IMO.

Absolutely agreed there. In all honesty I'm likely just going to switch to whatever generation of CrossClimate's exist at that point in the size I need when I feel the OEM tires aren't safe to me (might be in 500 miles, might be in 50,000 miles). They've done great off-roading and all-around in my RWD Subaru including in winter, so I trust them on RWD platforms already in my local weather.

And I think they look cool, although opinions apparently differ on that point (no pun intended... that would be silly).
